Never has the Leixões Container Terminal handled so many containers in the first nine months of a year! Between January and September, YILPORT Leixões counted 519,797 TEU, which represented an annual growth of 8.2% and a new record for the period.

As a result, YILPORT Leixões significantly strengthened its market share, ending September with 25% of total containers handled in mainland Portugal.

Considering that a significant part of the national total of containers concerns transhipment traffic, practically non-existent in Leixões, it can be said that the market share of YILPORT Leixões in import-export traffic is significantly higher and guarantees its national leadership.
