It is official. YILPORT Leixões reached, in 2019, a new absolute record in container handling, with a total of 685,810 TEU!

Compared to 2018, YILPORT Leixões grew 2.3%, or 15,716 TEU, while the market as a whole decreased 8.9%, or 266,000 TEU.

With this further growth, YILPORT Leixões moved even closer to the theoretical capacity limit of the terminal, while maintaining high productivity rates.

In fact, it should be noted that the new record was achieved despite the constraints resulting from the works in progress to expand the terminal's capacity.

The result achieved confirms the leadership of YILPORT Leixões in the import / export container traffic and attests to its importance in the logistics chains of companies in its increasingly vast hinterland.
