YILPORT LEIXÕES "THREATENS" ONCE AGAIN THE DAILY 3,000 TEU MARK2018-04-11 This happened on 7th April, the best day of week 14. Six ships were operated and unloaded / loaded 1,803 containers, or 2,932 TEU. There were only 68 TEU missing to break the 3,000 record. Among the ships operated on that day were "Safmarine Nakuru", which would become the Ship of the Week. Throughout the week, from 2nd to 8th April, Yilport Leixões received the "visit" of 25 ships. This resulted in the movement of 8,622 containers, corresponding to 13,969 TEU. But the work did not stop there, because it is not limited to the pier front. At the back side, in the park area, 6,756 containers were handled, among the 2,915 received and other 3,841 left by truck or by train. |
