YILPORT Leixões increased its market share and strengthened its leadership in import / export container traffic in 2018, according to results released by the Mobility and Transport Authority.

Last year, the container handling in mainland ports grew 0.5% year-on-year to 2.99 million TEU. In Leixões, growth reached 5.5%, to 667.5 thousand TEU.

Considering that the container traffic in Leixões is almost exclusively import / export, YILPORT Leixões reinforced its national leadership, with more than 200,000 TEU of advantage over the second national port in the service of the national exporters and importers.
