YILPORT Leixões should have ended the year with a new absolute record for container handling!

The figures for the first 11 months of 2019 have now been released by the AMT (Mobility and Transport Authority) and show that at the end of November YILPORT Leixões accumulated a year-on-year gain of 4.5%, for a total of 636,600 TEU.

This is to say that it will be enough for YILPORT Leixões to have maintained, in December, the numbers of 2018, or even lost some, to still reach a new absolute maximum.

And with that, the Leixões Container Terminal will confirm itself as the first national container terminal in the import-export moves, after all, those that represent the most value for the national economy.

In the total of Mainland ports, between January and November, 2.53 million TEU handled, 8% less than in the same period of 2018.
