YILPORT LEIXÕES LEADS IN IMPORT-EXPORT2018-01-11 According to November data released by AMT, Yilport Leixões remains the undisputed leader in the handling of import-export containers. From January up to November, mainland ports handled about 2,8 million TEU (an additional 11% year-on-year). 585 thousand TEU were countable in Leixões. Transhipment movements accounted more than 40% of global volumes, reaching close to 80% in the largest port on the market. Nonetheless, considering only the import-export containers, after all, those that best represent the activity of the national business companies, Yilport Leixões is by far the largest Portuguese container terminal and the best to attend its vast hinterland. |
