In the first half of 2018, Yilport’s container terminals handled 3.2 million TEU, a 4.6% increase over the same period of 2017.

In the Iberian Peninsula, Yilport terminals handled about 592,000 TEU, 2.9% lower than last year's record figures. In Leixões, 309,881 TEU were handled, i.e., 1.1% more.

In Turkey, volumes moved up 10.6% to 530,000 TEU, fuelled by the development of the local economy.

In Northern Europe, the terminals of Sweden and Norway together handled close to 238,000 TEU (1.7% more year-on-year).

In Latin America, where the Paita (Peru) terminal exceeded 130,000 TEU (16% more) and Puerto Bolivar (Ecuador) exceeded 60,000 TEU (plus 30%).
