August can be a holiday month, but the work does not slow down at the Leixões Container Terminal, because it is necessary to continue to serve the (increasingly) vast region that depends on it to carry out its imports and exports.

Thus, on week 32, the first complete of August (3 to 9), YILPORT Leixões operated 28 ships and handled 9,001 containers, or 14,870 TEU.

In the container yard another 8,360 containers were handled, which arrived there (4,224) or left there (4,136), by truck or train.

At the quay front, the best day of the week was Saturday, 8 August, when ten ships handled 1,947 containers, 3,267 TEU.
