Fifteen minutes was just the average waiting time of each truck that called TCL to unload or load containers.

In a month in which the Leixões Container Terminal handled 32,714 containers at the quay front, it is easy to see that there are tens of thousands of heavy goods vehicles that in the same period passed through Leixões to deliver or pick up containers.

To this immense demand TCL continued to respond promptly. Thus, on average, 40 minutes each truck was sufficient to carry out the programmed operations inside the port perimeter.
