TCL WORKING IN FULL AT THE SERVICE OF THE ECONOMY 2016-05-25 In a single day, in this case Saturday, the 11th May, the Leixões Container Terminal handled 3,648 TEU result of six ships operation. Throughout the week no. 21, between 16 and 22 May, TCL operated 29 ships and handled 15,292 TEU. To what further compounded other 8,378 containers (3,820 received and 4,558 delivered) handled ashore to/from trucks or trains. They are robust results, which prove, if necessary, TCL's ability to respond to market needs. And it also proves the level of organisation and operation of the Leixões Container Terminal, working around the clock, day and night, committed to minimising the ships’ length of stay at the terminal and limiting to the maximum the trains and trucks downtimes. In short, determined to ensure the smooth flow of the logistics chains in which it operates, for the benefit of economic operators and the economy of the region it serves. |
