TCL SURPASSES THE DAILY 3,500 TEU 2016-03-30 The 23rd March was a full day at the Leixões Container Terminal. On that day, Wednesday, TCL operated eight ships, which is good, and handled 2,174 containers, to which corresponded 3,511 TEU, which is remarkable! Thus, in one day only, TCL secured over a third of the weekly result. In fact, week no. 13, comprised between the 21st and 27th March, TCL handled at the quay front a total of 6,741 containers, or 10,904 TEU, a result of 28 ships operation. Further compounded the 5,888 containers handled at the container yard, the sum of 3,247 boxes that arrived at the terminal and the 2,641 which departed, thence, by road and rail. |
