TCL SURPASSES THE DAILY 3,300 TEU 2016-01-13 Tuesday, January 5, was a full day at the Leixões Container Terminal. That day were operated only six ships but handled 1,988 containers, to which corresponded 3,311 TEU! A threshold noteworthy and that illustrates the change in paradigm that quietly is happening on calls at TCL. Among the ships operated that day was the "Safmarine Nile," which would become the Ship of the Week. Going down in history of week no. 2 is the operation is a total of 25 ships, and the corresponding movement of containers 7,888, or 12,758 TEU. Compounded by the movement of 6,881 containers at the container yard, with the entry of 2,491 and exit of 4,390, by land. |
