TCL SURPASSES THE DAILY 3,000 TEU 2015-07-01 It was a week at full, you can say it regarding week no. 26, at the Leixões Container Terminal. In fact, between 22 and 28 June, TCL received and operated 28 ships, which is not even an exceptional result. For it is not every day that a container terminal with TCL’s characteristics handles 3,000 TEU. And were not 3,000, were more, were precisely 3,058, resulting from the unloading/loading of 2,131 containers. It happened on the 25th, when were operated five ships, including the one that ended up being the Ship of the Week. Remarkable is also the cumulative result of the week. 8,892 containers were handled, to which corresponded 14,199 TEU. The activity on the quay front had correspondence in the container yard, where entered 3,058 boxes throughout the week, and from where left 3,717, a total of over 6,775 movements. |
