TCL SURPASSES THE 3,300 TEU IN A SINGLE DAY 2015-12-09 The Leixões Container Terminal continues to demonstrate its operational capacity. This time, happened on December 5. Nine ships were then operated and unloaded/loaded 1,912 containers, equivalent to 3,399 TEU! As a mere exercise, and assuming a 24-hour nonstop work journey! for each hour TCL handled 80 containers from and to the ships in operation! Throughout the week, met between November 30 and December 6, TCL received and operated 32 ships, resulting in the movement of 8,024 containers, or 13,016 TEU. To this balance are still added the 6,429 containers handled in the container yard, among the 3,175 received and the 3,254 dispatched, by land. |
