Eight ships - among them the Ship of the Week - have yielded to the Leixões Container Terminal more than 3000 TEU handled in a single day.

It was short by two TEU, but if by one is won and by one is lost, the important thing is to keep in mind that, again, in conditions far from ideal, in a short time, TCL managed to operate a significant number of ships and to handle a considerable volume of containers.

This time it was on the best day of week no. 34 (21-27 August), Saturday, 26th. Were, then, handled at the quay front 1904 containers, to which corresponded the said 3000... and two TEU!

During the week 23 ships handled containers at TCL, resulting in 7300 moves, which corresponded to 12 144 TEU.

Also on week no. 34, TCL received more 2454 containers at the container yard and shipped 4440, by land, in a total of 6894 moves.
