TCL OVERCOMES AGAIN THE DAILY 3,000 TEU 2016-04-27 Again, the Leixões Container Terminal has exceeded the threshold of 3,000 TEU handled in one day. It is an increasingly common result, but still deserves to be duly emphasised. This time happened on the 23rd of April, with the operation of eight ships. In total were unloaded / loaded 1,939 containers, which corresponded to 3,126 TEU. Moreover, week no. 17 was quite fruitful at TCL. Between the 18th and the 24th of April were operated 33 ships and handled 9,155 containers, or 14,535 TEU! The portrait of the week is more complete, and truthful, if to these movements are added the 8,104 containers handled at the terminal’s park, with the arrival of 4,301 and the exit of 3,803, in these cases all by land. |
