TCL OPERATES 29 SHIPS AND ADDS UP 11,000 TEU 2015-10-28 Between 19 and 25 October (week no. 43), the Leixões Container Terminal received and operated a total of 29 ships. This led to the handling, to/from the ships, a sum of 7,214 containers, or 11,314 equivalent TEU. The day when were handled more containers, the best day of the week, was Wednesday, October 21. They were then unloaded/loaded 1,522 containers, equivalent to 2,234 TEU as a result of the eight-ship operation. To complete the balance of TCL’s activity on week no. 43, it should also be noted the movement at the container yard of over 6,864 containers with the arrival of 3,635 boxes and the dispatching of 3,229, not by ship, but loaded on trucks or trains. |
