The days when the Leixões Container Terminal handles more than 3,000 TEU are becoming more frequent. Sign of the times, with fewer ships (tending to larger) to carry out more moves per call. And evidence of TCL's operational capability.

On 27th October, the threshold of the 3,000 TEU handled was again exceeded, in what was the best day of the week no. 44 (24-30 October).

There were 3,051 TEU, corresponding to 1,797 containers, resulting from the operation of six ships.

During the week, TCL received and operated 26 ships, having handled 6,522 containers, or 10,963 TEU.

Also on week no. 44, TCL handled over 7,138 containers ashore, having received in the container yard 3,446 and dispatched 3,692, which arrived / left the port by land.
