This is starting to become a (good) habit. The Leixões Container Terminal surpassed once again the threshold of the 3,000 TEU handled in a single day of operations.
This time it happened on July 11 and the result achieved was 3,167 TEU (corresponding to 1,956 containers). That day were operated six ships, which is also an important element for the analysis of TCL's operational capacity.
Throughout the week, no. 28 of 2015, comprised between 6 and 12 July, TCL was "visited" by 28 ships, which handled a total of 7,420 containers, equivalent to 11,912 TEU.
In addition to these numbers, 6,434 containers were handled in the container yard, as the result of the reception of 3,223 boxes and the delivery of 3,211, which arrived/left the port by land.
