TCL is still the biggest national operator of container terminal, according to national data released, regarding the first semester.
Between January and June, TCL handled 282,926 TEU, representing a new concession record and also a national maximum, with an increase of 10.1% regarding the figures of last year’s first semester.
Container handling on the national ports increased 13.8% on the first semester of 2012, having exceeded the 861 thousand TEU mark.
Behind TCL and the Port of Leixões comes the Port of Lisbon, totalizing 1278,199 TEU, Sines with 260,385 TEU, Setúbal, with 28,979 TEU, and Figueira da Foz, with 10,575 TEU.
