TCL IN WEEKLY MAXIMUM 2016-05-18 The days of intense work persist at the Leixões Container Terminal, demanding the utmost effort from personnel and equipment to respond to the ship-owners, shippers and all actors involved in the logistics chain. At TCL, between the 9th and 15th of May, corresponding to week no. 20, were operated 36 ships and serviced an unusual number of trucks and trains to unload/load containers. At the quay front, the week has resulted in the movement of 10,279 containers, which equalled 16,697 TEU. The best day of the week was Saturday with the operation of eight ships and the movement of 1,942 containers, 3,160 TEU. In the rear, at the container yard, the number of additional containers handled amounted to 9,494 as a result of receiving 4,823 and delivering 4,671 boxes that entered / left the port by land. |
