June was the best month ever in the history of the concession of the Leixões Container Terminal, which began in May, 2000.
In June, TCL handled 33,658 containers, representing a 19% growth regarding the same month last year.
In June, TCL discharged/loaded 53,298 TEU, which also means a corresponding growth of 19% and is a new record in the monthly movement at the national ports…
On the six months of this year, TCL registered activity growth and new monthly records for five times. The only exception was April, and still, the corresponding drop was only of tenths percent.
However, June’s figures exceed largely March figures, so far the best month in Leixões, with a record of 32,297 containers and 50,192 TEU, then.
