TCL HANDLED 46,792 TEU IN FEBRUARY 2015-03-03 It was the second best February ever in the history of the Leixões Container Terminal but failed to overcome last year’s exceptional corresponding month. In February, 2015, TCL handled 46,792 TEU. In annual terms, the result achieved is a decrease of 10%. Considering the number of containers handled (29,657), the year-on-year fall was 11%. This in spite of the fact that in February the Terminal efficiency have been once again on high, with the operation of ships net productivity achieving on average 39 movements per hour and the average length of stay in the port of trucks (that required the TCL to deliver/to pick up containers) to be only 33 minutes. |
