TCL GROWS 8% UP TO JULY 2016-08-05 Completed the first seven months of the year, the Leixões Container Terminal recorded 389,588 TEU handled, representing an increase of 8% over the same period of 2015. Between January and July, TCL performed 239,776 moves (over 6% year-on-year). Combining the two indicators, it is easy to conclude that the number of containers of 40" and 45" handled at Leixões is increasing. In July, TCL handled 57,404 TEU (35,358 containers), a result that was in line with that achieved in the same month of 2015. If this trend continues, and despite we are still five months away from the end of the year, it is legitimate to hope that 2016 ends with another maximum for the Leixões Container Terminal. |
