The Container Terminal of Leixões handled in January 37,033 TEU, representing an increase of more than 21% (21.3%) regarding the same month of 2009.
Considering the total # of containers, in January TCL increased 15.63% in corresponding terms, with 23,086 units handled.
The fact the comparison is being made in January, an acknowledged atypical month due to the crisis, does not darken the result reached by TCL on the start of 2010.
In fact, considering only the number of containers handled, the obtained result exceeds largely the one registered in 2007, only exceeded in its turn by the amount of January 2008 which was also exceptional.
