TCL EXCEEDS THE WEEKLY 14,000 TEU AND TOUCHS THE DAILY 3,000 2016-05-04 Between the 25th of April and the 1st of May, two holidays by the way, the Leixões Container Terminal received and operated 30 ships. Throughout the week number 18, were handled 8,776 containers, which equalled 14,184 TEU. The best day of the week, measured by the number of movements, was Thursday, the 28th of April. That day were operated five ships (including the "Safmarine Nile", which would become the Ship of the Week) and unloaded/loaded 1,947 containers, or 2,987 TEU. Intense was also the work at the container yard, with the arrival of 4,058 containers and the dispatching of 3,903 other, a total of over 7,961 movements. |
