It happened, now, on the 24th January. The Leixões Container Terminal again exceeded the threshold of 3,000 TEU handled in one day, this time as a result of five ships operation.
The best day of the week no. 4 (comprised between the 18th and the 24th January), TCL unloaded/loaded 1,843 containers, to which corresponded 3,115 TEU!
Moreover, the week was, it can be said, very productive at TCL. A total of 28 ships were operated and handled 7,786 containers, or 12,628 TEU.
"Far" from the quay front, at the container yard, work was also intense with the reception of 3,858 containers and the shipping of 3,456 other, by land, totalling over 7,314 movements.
