It is not an absolute record, but it is surely one of the best weekly records of the Leixões Container Terminal. Between 16 and 22 January (week no. 3), TCL handled no less than 15,414 TEU!

During the week, 32 ships were operated (a very important detail, considering the characteristics of the terminal and not only), which resulted in the unloading / loading of 9,174 containers.

Only on Saturday, the best day of the week, eight ships handled cargoes, having been unloaded / loaded 2,198 containers, or 3,654 TEU.

Intense was also the activity at TCL’s container yard, with the arrival of 3,223 boxes and the expedition of 4,124, in a total of over 7,347 containers handled by land.
