The days when the Leixões Container Terminal reaches 3,000 TEU or is very close to it, are becoming more frequent. Sign of the times and the use of increasingly large ships by shipowners.

On week no. 13, which marked the transition from March to April (27 March to 2 April), again TCL was very close to 3,000 TEU. It happened on Tuesday, the 28th, as a result of the operation of six ships. There were handled 1,767 containers, which corresponded to 2,962 TEU.

Moreover, the week was productive, with the operation of 27 ships that "yielded" 7,938 containers, or 13,380 TEU.

At the container yard, work was also intense, with the 3,791 boxes received and the 4,055 shipped, in a total of more 7,846 moves of containers that arrived or left the port by land.
