In December, the Leixões Container Terminal handled 51,956 TEU. In comparison with the same month of 2015, the growth achieved was 5.99%.

Considering the number of units handled – 32,211 –, the year-on-year growth rate was similar and stood at 5.77%.

This was, thus, the best December of the last three years. It could be said that just lacked "that little bit...” for a new annual record.
