TCL ABOVE THE WEEKLY 14,000 TEU 2015-06-11 The month of June started off well at the Leixões Container Terminal. June 1 was just the best day of the week and the week, number 23, resulted in the handling of more than 14,000 TEU. Just on June 1, the TCL operated five ships (including the ship of the Week, the "Santa Francesca"), having handled 1,576 containers, equivalent to 2,239 TEU. Throughout the week 28 ships were operated, resulting in the handling of 9,340 containers, or 14,537 TEU. To fatten the numbers, at the container yard were further handled 7,598 units, amongst the 3,260 that arrived and 4,338 that left, all by land. |
