“Troense Maersk” managed to be the “Ship of the Week” at the Container Terminal of Leixões on week # 2.
The ship of the Danish ship-owner was at TCL precisely the last day of the week, Sunday the 10th January, having handled 908 TEU.
Beyond the number of handled units, the high productivity reached at the loading/discharging operations should be emphasized. In average, at each hour of effective work 61 containers were handled, meaning each container was handled in less than a minute!
The operatuons of “Troense Maersk” began at 8:31 am and ended at 6:48 pm, when the ship sailed again.
