"SAFMARINE NILE" HANDLED OVER 2,000 TEU 2016-06-29 The "Safmarine Nile" was the ship that handled more containers at TCL on week no. 26, comprised between 20 and 26 June. Operations started at 8:39 a.m. on Monday and lasted, in an almost uninterrupted marathon, until 2:20 p.m. the next day. For every hour of effective work were handled on average 43 containers. In the end, the call of the "Safmarine Nile" has resulted in over 2,080 TEU, increasing the numbers of the Leixões Container Terminal. The "Safmarine Nile" was, rightly, the Ship of the Week. |
