"SAFMARINE NILE" HANDLED OVER 2,000 TEU 2016-05-04 In its most recent call at the Leixões Container Terminal, the "Safmarine Nile" handled the equivalent to 2,007 TEU, a 24 hours’ non-stop operation! Movements were performed between 08:25, on the 28th of April, and 09:17, on the 29th of April. 24 hours of uninterrupted work, at an average rate of 50 movements per hour of effective work! The number of movements - but it could well be by the operational performance - the "Safmarine Nile" stood out among the 30 ships operated by TCL between the 25th of April and the 1st of May, becoming, thus, the Ship of the Week no. 18. |
