In the first nine months of the year, the Leixões Container Terminal handled 528,535 TEU. A new record that surpasses by 1.2% that achieved in the same period of 2019.

With this result, YILPORT Leixões continues to gain market share, since container handling at all ports in the continent decreased by 1.4% until September, according to the Mobility and Transport Authority (AMT).

The Leixões Container Terminal also maintains its outstanding leadership in the import-export moves, after all, those that most serve the hinterland and the national economy, with a total of 487,300 TEU.

In September alone, 57,600 TEU were handled in Leixões, which represents a year-on-year increase of 4.2%.
