PORTS PROFITED EIGHT MILLION EUROS UNTIL MARCH

The Mainland port authorities recorded profits of eight million euros in the first quarter of 2015, which represents an annual growth of 28%.
The APDL (the Port Authority of Leixões) and the APS (the Port Authority of Sines and Algarve) were the most profitable administrations, both with gains of EUR 2.7 million. But Leixões retreated 14% over the first quarter of 2014, while Sines has advanced 19%.
The APA (the Port Authority of Aveiro) has achieved a net profit of 845,000 euros (plus 4%) and surpassed the APSS (the Port Authority of Setúbal and Sesimbra), which received 807,000 euros (less 8%).
The APL (the Port Authority of Lisbon) made a profit of 415,000 euros, contrasting with losses of EUR 1.7 million a year ago.
