PORT OF LEIXÕES OPENS DOORS TO THE CITY 2015-09-16 Next Saturday, the 19th, is celebrated another day of the Port of Leixões, this year in its seventh edition. Once again, the festivities’ cornerstone will be the port communion with the city and the community, reason why the doors will be open to all who wish to visit the various terminals and participate in the many activities planned. Just inaugurated, the Cruise Terminal will be, this time, the main venue of the celebrations and it can be expected to be the biggest target of the visitors’ curiosity. "We want people to contact with the Port of Leixões’ reality and this year, besides the usual visits to the port and to the vessels, the inflatables for younger children and the touring and sightseeing buses, there will also be a photography exhibition and lots of music with performances of the Quarteto de Saxofones, the Banda Sinfónica Portuguesa (Casa da Música), the Sons do Douro and the Souls of Fire" says Helena Gomes Fernandes, commercial manager of the Port Authority. |
