On Saturday, 14 November, the Leixões Container Terminal operated 12 ships (twelve!).

The number is impressive, but equally impressive is the result achieved in handling containers: there were 2,044, which corresponded to 3,503 TEU!

These two numbers for the Best Day of the Week speak highly of the operational capacity of the Leixões Container Terminal. In fact: guaranteeing the rotation of 12 ships in a terminal with the characteristics of Leixões, handling an average of only 170 containers per ship, and yet ensuring good productivity is only within reach of the best.

Throughout week 46 (9 to 15 November), there were 31 ships at YILPORT Leixões, which handled 9,437 containers, or 15,481 TEU.

In the same period, but ashore, another 8,158 containers were handled, between 3,941 received and 4,217 shipped.
