Despite the difficult situation - and also because of it - the Leixões Container Terminal continues to work close to its maximum capacity, doing everything to speed up the flow of export and import goods.

Proof of this are the high volumes that continue to be handled, despite the evident slowdown in economic activity. On week 13 alone (23 to 29 March), YILPORT Leixões operated 30 ships and handled 10,673 containers, or 17,384 TEU!

On the best day of the week, Saturday, 28 March, seven ships were operated and 1,871 containers, 3,044 TEU, were unloaded / loaded.

If the work at the quay front is intense, ashore, at the container yard, it is no less: throughout the week, another 9,725 (!) containers were handled there, between 4,019 received and 5,706 shipped.
