...Another day above 2,000 TEU. In both cases, the threshold was clearly exceeded. It happened on week no. 19 and on May 6.
First things first. On week no. 19, comprised between 4 and 10 May, the Leixões Container Terminal received and operated 27 ships. Which resulted in the loading or unloading of a total of 6,643 containers, which corresponded to 10,978 TEU.
On May 6, the TCL operated eight ships. Which resulted in the movement of 1,537 containers, equivalent to 2,433 TEU. It was the best day of the week.
To complete the balance of week no. 19, it should also be noted the movement of over 7,682 containers (3,138 inbound, 4,544 outbound) in the container yard.
