As part of the South Container Terminal reconversion works, we inform you that since the 8th of November, three of the new RTGs installed in Park 3 came into operation. This state-of-the-art equipment will work, initially, by remote control and, at a later stage, also semi-automatically, with supervision. With the entry into operation of this equipment, we will provide the South Terminal with greater capacity, efficiency and agility in cargo handling and, as a result, it is our expectation that we will be able to reduce service times for trucks at the Port of Leixões.
