MORE THAN 3,600 TEU HANDLED IN SINGLE ONE DAY2016-11-30 Saturday, 26 November, was a day in full at the Leixões Container Terminal. It was really the best day of week no. 48 (21-27 November). On that day, TCL operated eight ships, resulting in the handling of 2,029 containers, corresponding to 3,607 TEU! It was, without a doubt, a good working day, in absolute and relative terms. Not only for the numbers themselves, but also due to their combination: because operating eight ships in a terminal with the characteristics of TCL, handling an average of just over 250 containers on each ship, it is an achievement! ... During week 48, TCL operated 32 ships, resulting in the handling of 8,682 containers, or 14,389 TEU. More than 7,231 containers were handled at the container yard, resulting in 3,697 received and 3,534 shipped, by land. |
