It is a record. Never has a ship handled so many TEU, on a single call, at the Leixões Container Terminal.

"Maersk Jubail” is the "hero" of this story. At its most recent call at TCL, it handled 3,125 TEU.

However, TCL also played a major role in this achievement. The unloading and loading operations took place almost continuously, day and night, between 8:40 a.m. on 27 June and 7:37 p.m. on the following day. Moreover, the net productivity reached 54 moves per hour.

In other words, "Maersk Jubail” handled a record number of containers; however, its downtime at the port was reduced to a minimum!

With all this, it is almost unnecessary to say that the "Maersk Jubail” was the Ship of the Week at TCL on week no. 26 (26 June to 2 July).
