LEIXÕES LOGISTICS PLATFORM ELECTED BY CEF 2015-07-06 The Leixões Logistic Platform integrates the list of projects selected for European co-financing under the CEF program. The Leixões Port Authority applied for the conduction of studies and works related to the second phase of the logistics platform, an eligible investment of 21.6 million euros. The maximum co-funding allocated is 12.94% of that amount, almost 2.8 million euros. Also selected to be supported by CEF is the carrying out of studies for the development of Douro’s inland waterway. The application, made last year in September, was also presented by IMT, but since the beginning of the year the Leixões Port Authority is responsible for Douro’s navigability. In this case, the eligible expenses stood at 4.7 million euros and Brussels should co-finance them by 50%. |
