The port of Leixões handled 14.6 million tonnes in the first nine months of the year. The Port Authority (APDL) announced a new record for the same period in 2016.

In the statement issued by the port authority was enhanced the growth of 21% in the handling of liquid bulk, and 16% of the ro-ro cargo.

It should be mentioned that Yilport Leixões provides all the port operation of the ro-ro regular line, at the Multipurpose Terminal.
