"Hammonia Rome" at the service of the Maersk Line, was the ship that handled more containers at TCL on week no. 44, comprised between October 26 and November 1. They were altogether over a thousand containers that corresponded to 1,664 TEU. Equally important as the volume of containers/TEU handled was, however, the fact that "Hammonia Rome" has been operated within 23 hours, almost "non-stop"! In fact, "Hammonia Rome" came to Leixões on the 28th and began to be operated at TCL at 09:44. And continued his journey the next day, after the last container has been handled at 08:45. For every hour of effective work were handled on average 50 containers. There is to say, the unloading and loading operations lasted for the entire 28th and the night away, until the early morning of the 29th. Un "exploit" that speaks highly of TCL’s responsiveness! "Hammonia Rome" was the Ship of the Week no. 44. |
