DAILY 3,000 TEU OVERCOME AGAIN 2015-11-18 Once again, TCL exceeded the threshold of 3,000 TEU handled in a single day's work. This time were 3,066 TEU, equivalent to 2,107 containers and resulting from the operation of eight ships. The feat was achieved on November 13, Friday, where there was no misfortune and which was even the best day of the week no. 46. Between 9 and 15 November, the Leixões Container Terminal received and operated 32 ships, and hence resulted the handling of 7,865 containers, equivalent to 12,207 TEU. Also on week no. 46, TCL handled, ashore, over 7,122 containers, resulting from the reception of 3,241 and the shipping of other 3,881 boxes, which arrived or departed by land. |
