Month after month, the Leixões Container Terminal surpasses the historical maximum of container handling, and thus gaining market share.

From January to May, the result amounted to 289,280 TEU, which represents a year-on-year growth of 12.1% and a new record for the period.

With this performance, the Leixões Container Terminal increased its market share to 24.3%. Also, because the domestic market fell 0.9% in the same period.

The Leixões Container Terminal is confirmed as the undisputed national leader in import-export traffic.
