We hereby inform the procedures associated with booking container inspection services at the Port of Leixões/YILPORT Leixões as of the 4th of April.

The booking of services for the following day must be made by e-mail to the address of TCL/YPL’s Operations Department, pttcl.opr.dg@yilport.com , until 4:30 p.m. of the previous day. For services to be carried out on Monday, the booking must be made until 5:30 p.m. on the previous Friday.

In the e-mail message with the service booking request, must be included the following information:

· Container number

· Vessel call

· Inspection service booking day

· Type of Inspection

· Name of the Customs License Broker

This information will be validated with the bookings made by our shipowners/agents, as well as with the information that will be shared in advance by Leixões Customs services.

Veterinary Inspections (PIF), Customs Inspections (NIF) and Phytosanitary Inspections begin at 9:00 a.m. as agreed with the Leixões Customs services.

TCL/YPL will inform in advance the order of inspections to be carried out for information of the Customs License Broker.

We clarify that, in the specific case of the inspections regarding refrigerated containers, the tariff presented already includes all costs associated with unplugging/plugging containers at the terminal.
