On week 16 (13 to 19 April), the Leixões Container Terminal was "visited” by 34 ships, which handled 9,987 containers, or 16,073 TEU.

The best day of the week, in units handled, was Monday, the 13th, with the operation of seven ships (among them the Ship of the Week) yielding 2,244 containers, or 3,625 TEU.

Still on week 16, but ashore, YILPORT Leixões handled, at the container yard, another 7,912 containers, between 3,240 unloaded and 4,672 loaded.

Needless to say that the traffic of trucks - and trains - continues to and from the Leixões Container Terminal, which continues to work to meet the needs of exporters and importers in its (increasingly) vast hinterland.
